Making Space for What Serves You

Fall is a reminder to release what no longer supports us. As the trees shed their leaves, they model something we often resist: letting go with trust. This season asks us to take a look at our lives and notice what we’re holding onto out of habit, fear, guilt, or comfort — and what might open if we allowed some of those things to fall away.
Maybe it’s a stressful routine. Maybe it’s an old expectation of yourself. Maybe it’s the belief that you have to do everything alone. Maybe it’s the idea that rest is something you must earn. Letting go doesn’t mean losing something. It means creating space for something better aligned with who you are today.
A Fall Reflection Practice
Sit with a journal or simply close your eyes for a moment.
Take a deep inhale and on the exhale ask yourself: “What am I ready to release?”
Then breathe in and ask:“What am I ready to receive?”
Continue to breathe this way until answers begin to form.
Even a tiny shift — one thought, one habit, one belief — can open a doorway to a new avenue or journey that will lead you in a more authentic direction.
If you would like to explore this seasonal transition more deeply, consider making time for the online Fall Harvest Retreat, where we’ll move, breathe, reflect, and create space for what’s next. Click here for more information.
